Rhino Ark UK are delighted to announce that this year's UK Rhino Charge charity 4x4 event will be held on Sunday 23rd September at the traditional venue of Pippingford Park, Wych Cross, East Sussex.

The event has been moved forward to a Sunday in September to give access to more of the site and enable those who have to work on a Saturday to enjoy this unique competition, which can be entered by seasoned off roaders or complete novices.

Sponsorship money raised as always goes to the Rhino Ark Charity in Kenya to continue the building and maintenance of their Conservation Fence around the Aberdare National Park. Details of the UK Rhino Charge and Rhino Ark can be found on www.rhinoark.org

Our BIG BANG 10 Anniversary Year, in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year and 50 anniversary of the independence of Malaysia. Come and join the world's most internationally represented 4x4 event - the Rainforest Challenge.

The Venue
Back to one of the "most feared" terrain in Malaysia, the state of Terengganu. Be prepared for the monsoon, wild, untamed and rugged tracks, camaraderie, special stages, torture-fest and adventure. Come with an open mindset to absorb the thrills and spills of the jungle, make friendship and you will enjoy the event. Remember, Mother Nature is supreme. You conquer yourselves, your fears and you live your 4x4 dreams.

Rules & Regulations
As per 2006 with additional features like compulsory 3-point safety harness type, winches (electric or PTO must have an automatic braking system, minumum half door at least 6" above the seat of the driver/co-driver and a safety netting at the open section of the window, certififed safety helmets for all Special Stages, roll cages, tyres must not exceed 40" and radiators must be within the engine bay or outside driver's cabin.

All Electric Winch Award
For the team which uses only electric winch as it's main recovery equipment, this can be mounted at the front or rear.
